Not sure if Koro is for you?

You are more than welcome to visit and stay for a while. We have inexpensive accommodations and can provide you with meals while you are here. We can help with your travel plans. You can get to Koro by plane from Suva (Fiji's capitol city) every Saturday, or by ferry every Thursday and Saturday from Suva as well.

While you are with us, spend time in the ocean, fish or kayak, hike, explore, look for just the right piece of land for you. Our accommodations are there to cater to potential owners and visitors, and are therefore affordable but not all that luxurious.

Who else is on Koro?

Apart from about 3200 local residents that live in 6 villages we have 10 full-time residents. Most other owners either come for a few months out of the year, or are busy working abroad and can't wait to start their life on Koro Island. Others have just bought for investment.

How do people live?
There are 20 homes on Koro right now. Home building can either be done by local kit home builders (simple homes start at $ 10.000.00) or is done by the owners themselves. Local labor is around $ 10.00 per day, which is very affordable. Homes are equipped with solar power and water catchments.

What do you do on a tropical island?
Relax. There is plenty to do while you visit, and once you own a place you'll be cutting trees, planting fruit trees, doing what else you do for personal fulfillment and spending time with other owners in a casual atmosphere. Be alone or with friends, work on that dream home, fish...
